Artist Statement
I do not look for theories to explore nor the latest social term to exploit or the latest fad in vogue. I believe in the pure exploration of material. The excitement of new discovery. Process is everything! Some of my work may be nonrepresentational then the next might be a simple oil still life. I don't believe in one method being better than another but wether the execution is solid and well defined.
Influences: Classics, Byzantine art, Anselm Kiefer, DaVinci, Degas, Old books, comic books, Old Video Games, Typography, Download, Computer art/music, Dada, Ancient History, New Media Art, Sci-fi and Horror films, anything having to do with The Old West.
