SCOOP: Storm Lion Studio Shuts Down Before San Diego (UPDATE) Bleeding Cool Comic Book News and Rumors
(UPDATE – well it seems like someone was reading. Within an hour of posting this, Storm Lion had suddenly entered negotiations with a new party. Fingers crossed folks, this could be good news.)
This looks like it could be a good comic company I hope all goes well for them.
Harvey Pekar Dies At 70
Harvey Pekar, creator of American Splendor, a truly unique comic book experience, has died. And I feel a loss commensurate with no one else who I didn’t actually know. Probably because through American Splendor, I feel I knew him so well. Which other comic has been so honest with the reader over such a period of time. So open, so raw, so uncompromising?

Marvel Comics now available via comiXology, iVerse, Panelfly and ScrollMotion apps [Updated] | Robot 6 @ Comic Book Resources – Covering Comic Book News and Entertainment
Here's the problem with the $1.99 price point...that's more expensive per page than getting the comics in trade. I like the Comixology app a lot, but I have a hard time paying MORE for a digital comic than the physical form. For example, The Astonishing X-Men #1 trade is $10.19 on Amazon.com. Collecting the same 152 pages worth of individual comics on Comixology would cost around $13.75. Am I missing something here? If Comixology was at half that price, I'd happily gobble up most of these comics.
Come on! I am not paying that much for digital comics. Sorry, I can do $0.99 cent but thats it for a single issue. At there prices I would rather spend the extra buck and get the physical issue which has some resale value. Also its real in front of me. I remember when I first read being digital about how paying for bits was going to make things so much cheeper. I remember when cds came out the where going to be so much cheeper than tapes because the cost to make it was cheeper and tapes over records and so on and so forth.
